Meet the Team!

My love for event planning started back in high school, where I spent all four years on the Prom Committee and discovered just how much I loved bringing people together for special occasions! Over the years, that passion grew through planning celebrations for friends and family, and eventually led me to turn my love of creating memorable experiences into a career.

After exploring my creative side through visual and graphic arts, I found my way back to my true calling: hospitality and event management. I graduated from George Brown College’s Bachelor of Applied Business in Hospitality Management program in 2016 and gained valuable experience working in other areas of the wedding and events industry.

In October 2019, I took a leap of faith and officially launched Oksana’s Magical Events! While the pandemic put a few plans on hold, my passion never faded. Today, I’m excited to help couples, families, and friends bring their celebrations to life, one magical detail at a time. From weddings and birthdays to anniversaries, bridal and baby showers, celebrations of life, holiday parties, and everything in between, I love helping clients create events that feel uniquely them. 

I love bringing events of all styles and sizes to life, from cozy, intimate gatherings to elegant celebrations and big, lively parties filled with joy and laughter! I’m especially passionate about DIY décor and those little personal touches that make an event truly unforgettable. Whether it’s a handmade detail, a meaningful keepsake, or a creative finishing touch, I believe the magic is often found in the smallest things. 

My goal is to make the planning process enjoyable, bring your vision to life, and help you celebrate life’s special moments without losing sight of what matters most: making memories.

And when I’m not busy making event magic happen, you’ll probably find me walking dogs, singing in my church band, watching Disney movies, running after my niece and nephews, knitting and crocheting, or cheering on the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs.

If you've worked with me, you've likely seen Sam by my side on an event day. With a great eye for detail, a friendly and upbeat personality, and a love for helping others, she's become an invaluable member of my team over the last few years and I'm blessed beyond belief to have her by my side! 

When she's not helping me make event magic, shes hard at work studying to be a Veterinary Tech and dreams of becoming a full-fledged Veterinarian! She also loves to crochet, spend time in her garden, and go on all kinds of adventures with her boyfriend and friends.
